Job Title: Buyer Associate
Location:Jacksonville FL 32226
Duration: 24 Months Contract
Max Pay: $30/hr to $33.65/hr on W

Job Description :

Aerospace is looking to hire a Procurement Analyst (ONSITE) to carry out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFQs, supplier relationships and cost accountability for the life cycle of the programs/product.

Required Skill Set :
• Prepares purchase orders and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.
• Monitors delivery assurance to ensure early identification of shortages,
expediting and managing escalated situations when they occur, engaging suppliers to resolve problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
• Work with Accounts Payable to
reconcile invoices
• Participates in solutions for issues such as sub-process suppliers, quality and technical assistance and identifying root causes that impact on-time delivery and quality.
• Communicates and reports on information about order status, changes, or cancellations, acting as liaison between Supply Chain and other Interior Products functional teams such as Quality, Engineering, Planning and Operation
• May manage small projects or processes.
Desired Skills Set :
• Must have a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
• Military purchasing experience preferred
• SAP experience
• 1 year experience managing Purchase Orders

Education Qualification :
Education typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor)
