Experience
  • Previous hospital respiratory therapy experience (exact years not listed)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with:
    • Mechanical ventilation (invasive & non-invasive)
    • Emergency airway management
    • Chest physiotherapy & secretion clearance
    • EKG & arrhythmia recognition
    • Arterial blood gases (ABG)
    • Pulmonary function tests (NIF, VC, etc.)
    • Trach care, suctioning, and tube management
    • Assisting with bronchoscopy, chest tubes, and respiratory-related procedures
Certifications (Required)
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • RRT / CRT (depending on facility requirement—usually RRT strongly preferred)
