Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in both open and minimally invasive procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair and replacement, and aortic surgery. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a supportive, state-of-the-art environment with access to advanced diagnostic and surgical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of cardiovascular surgical procedures with a focus on quality outcomes and patient safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and intensivists.
- Participate in call coverage on a rotating basis.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical interactions.
- Participate in clinical research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives as desired.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a cardiothoracic/cardiovascular surgery residency/fellowship.
- Board certification or eligibility in Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in FL (or ability to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
