Your Role: As a General Liability Claims Examiner for Public Entities, you will analyze complex claims on behalf of our clients, ensuring that all claims are processed efficiently and in compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans, ensuring appropriate and timely resolutions.
  • Negotiate settlements within your designated authority.
  • Communicate claim activity clearly with both claimants and clients.
  • Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in General Liability claims management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in California Public Entity claims, particularly involving school districts and sexual misconduct claims, is essential.

The starting salary for this role ranges from $71,000 to $100,000, depending on your skills and experience. We also provide a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and more.
