About the job Tax Manager / Senior Tax Accountant
Arkansas Talent Group is proud to be partnering with one of Arkansas most Prominent and Respectable CPA Firms to help them find a candidate at various levels in their tax department including Tax Managers and Senior Tax Accountants The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax preparation and planning, as well as a strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Duties would include:
- Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Lead engagements throughout all phases of accounting including tax research, tax planning and preparation of financial statements
- Develop tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits
- Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and provide expert advice on tax matters
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax-related issues
- Collaborate with other members of the tax team and firm leadership to deliver exceptional service and value to clients
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate updates to clients and colleagues
- Bachelors / Masters in Accounting
- CPA or in process of completing CPA
- 2-7 years of Tax Experience in a CPA Firm
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Experience working with various size businesses across various industries preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members
Client is offering a competitive salary that is dependent on experience, but will be above market value. Client also offers a wonderful benefits package, ample PTO, and matching retirement plan. This position does have ability for a hybrid schedule- potentially even fully remote as long as candidate lives in the state of Arkansas and still willing to come in from time to time for collaboration.
