We are seeking a motivated Surgical Technologist I to join our dynamic Operating Room team. This full-time role offers a 2nd shift schedule (day and evening availability) at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, the largest hospital in Wisconsin.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room by ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment conducive to optimal patient care.
  • Utilize aseptic surgical techniques to prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures.
  • Function as a Second Assistant when necessary and proactively anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
  • Transport patients and equipment safely while maintaining high standards of care.
  • Maintain specialty carts and ensure all instruments and equipment are in working order.

What You Need:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months if required.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and patients as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.

Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet physical demands such as lifting, pushing, and bending frequently throughout your shift.
