Job Description:
  • IT Business Analyst with experience in Capital Markets, work in direct relation with financial markets, writing functional specifications, user stories interacting with Business on and defining and implementing project plans. Should be familiar with financial products, Accounting Concepts and working in highly challenging environments on strong functional projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Role will consist of intervening in all phases of projects, which may cover the Front to the Back Office. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Responsible for Gathering and Documenting Business Requirements, assisting the technical teams in development and documentation of technical requirements including UAT
  • Developing and communicating technical solutions to developers and business
  • Writing detailed functional specifications
  • Definition and implementation of the project plan
  • Work on ad-hoc projects in time pressed environment
Requirements:
  • A professional with a university degree or equivalent, with a financial specialization. Provide business analysis support to Finance with Accounting and GL Related Queries related to Reconciliation Breaks and P/L Explain.
  • Understanding of accounting procedures including UPL and RPL
  • Capitals Markets front office applications such as Murex, GMI, BPS, Impact (familiarity with at least 1 of these systems)
  • Lead requirements gathering and documentation and convert into technical specification
  • Extensive experience in testing code release including Unit testing, component testing, and UAT
  • Experience supporting production issues in timely manner
  • Experience working with business and development team
  • Experience in subledger and ledger systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft
  • Equipped with at least 10 years of experience in Capital Markets as a Business Analyst in fast paced and challenging environment.
  • Strong SQL Knowledge and experienced with Agile and Snowflake Methodologies. Good knowledge of Reporting methodologies and BI tools like Qlik
  • A team player with good communication skills and a self-starter who needs minimum support
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator (in English)
