Medical Assistant - Pediatric Outpatient Clinic

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour

About the Role

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (Front & Back Office) to support a busy pediatric outpatient clinic . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and their families, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and can adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform front and back office Medical Assistant duties, including patient check-in/out, rooming, scheduling support, and EHR documentation.

  • Obtain accurate vital signs , prepare exam rooms, and assist providers with routine pediatric procedures.

  • Administer injections and support additional clinical tasks within MA scope of practice.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to pediatric patients, families, and clinical staff.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with providers, staff, and visitors.

  • Maintain a proactive , flexible, and solutions-focused approach in a dynamic pediatric clinic environment.

  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-centered culture.

Qualifications

  • Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED .

  • Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification from an accredited program.

  • Valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) .

  • Previous Medical Assistant experience (front and back office).

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
