FTE: Part Time, 0.6, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Nights
Pay: $38.91 - $60.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Join our team as a Clinical Education Resource Nurse, where you will play a vital role in nurturing the development of our nursing staff and enhancing the quality of patient care. This is a unique opportunity to blend education with hands-on clinical support while working in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Act as an onsite educational resource for clinical nurses in orientation and those with less than two years' experience.
- Preferred qualifications include recent in-patient and Critical Care experience, as well as preceptor or charge nurse roles.
- Maintain certifications such as ACLS and NIHSS.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct rounds to meet with orienting clinical nurses, providing education and support aimed at ensuring safe, effective care.
- Collaborate with unit educators and preceptors to assess learning needs and provide targeted educational interventions.
- Engage actively in the orientation of new clinical staff, including delivering educational activities on clinical competencies, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a mentor, helping to evaluate the performance of new staff in collaboration with unit leadership.
- Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment, working with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
- BLS certification must be current prior to start date.
- Candidates pursuing a bachelor's degree may be considered under certain circumstances.
