Job Overview:

The LGUS HyCO division of Linde, Inc. is currently seeking a Production Technician in Liberty, TX. The production technician, working under the direction of lead technicians and the facilities manager, has responsibility for supporting day-to-day operations at the Moss Bluff facility.

The facility produces supports the hydrogen pipeline via hydrogen storage in a salt cavern and boosting capabilities, this site also runs and supports a PSA site in Baytown. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the equipment associated with PSA, compressors, dryers, Salt Caverns, and oil removal systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Adjustments to process variables.

  • Startup and shutdown of process equipment.

  • Preparing equipment for maintenance work including lock-out tag-out.

  • Correctly and safely permit maintenance work.

  • Monitoring equipment performance.

  • Responsibilities require 12-hour shift rotation, on-call, and scheduled overtime.

  • Effectively communicate with fellow operators, technicians, engineers, and managers.

  • Adhere to all Corporate and Plant policies.

  • Maintain the highest degree of personal safety and environmental accountability at all times.

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping.

  • Participate in daily and monthly safety and production meetings.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma.

  • Associate degree preferred.

  • 2 years Production/Operations experience or equivalent industrial experience.

  • Working extended hours and/or weekends, holidays and call-ins may be required.
