Opportunity Overview:
Construction Manager E&C position based in Juno Beach, FL. This is a 1 year. contract assignment (W-2) You will be work onsite in Cumberland, Maryland as a central location. Per Diem is available. The construction manager is responsible for the project's success from a field level. CM's spend more time at their computer then in the field. They are the bridge between the field and the Project Manager.
Electrical Transmission line experience is imperative for this position.
You will report to the onsite manager.
Your Day-to-Day:
- You will work on the preconstruction and construction stage
- You will be responsible for reporting, managing additional resources, material management.
- Know the contract documents
- Work with the Safety Team
- Develop a good relationship with the contractor (if possible)
- Safety (keep them safe)
- Manage the team to help gather all the information need to report.
- Use land agents for planning, difficult landowners, information about landowners and land agreements
Who You Are:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years as a construction manager
- Transmission line experience is imperative for this position
