Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Remote Mondays & Fridays; In-office Tuesday-Thursday)
Position Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle, high-volume hourly recruiting efforts in a fast-paced environment. This role partners closely with hiring leaders and HR to ensure timely hiring, compliance with employment regulations, and an exceptional candidate experience. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting workforce planning and retention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Hourly Recruiting & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for hourly positions, including interviewing, applicant skills testing, salary recommendations, and offer letter preparation.
- Coordinate pre-employment processes such as background checks, drug screens, E-Verify, and new hire paperwork.
- Manage onboarding and orientation for all newly hired hourly employees.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure all HR-related documentation aligns with company policies, objectives, and legal requirements.
- Administer and interpret corporate guidelines related to benefits and compensation.
- Schedule, conduct, and participate in interviews for hourly open positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to support staffing needs and hiring decisions.
- Manage and present weekly reports on hourly staffing levels, turnover, and retention.
- Provide insights and updates to leadership on recruiting metrics and trends.
- Conduct HR presentations, including new employee orientation, communication meetings, and employee training sessions.
- Support department and company-wide HR and recruiting initiatives and special projects.
Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
