Loader Operator

Alter Trading Company is looking to add to its team in Greeley, CO. Alter Trading Corporation, a 125 year old, privately held company with 70+ scrap metal processing facilities operates scrap metal processing facilities in 9 states and trades recycled materials nationally and internationally.
Equipment Operators (Forklift, Skid steer, Excavator, etc.). This position must have previous equipment operating experience.
Specific Duties Include:
•
- Loader operator
- Load the feed hopper
- Load outbound FLUFF trucks
- Load containers and open top trucks with outbound materials
- Responsible for loading the correct materials
- Directs traffic and responsible for truck drivers delivering material to the correct bunkers
- Push up piles to keep all products and feed materials separate
- Performs other Duties as assigned.
Candidates must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and legs, while climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Must be able to follow all company safety standards and wear necessary PPE including hard hat and steel toe safety boots.
