Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. This role requires expertise in PLC knowledge, electrical, and mechanical systems. Experience with robotics is considered a plus. The position offers a flexible schedule, either working A, C (Days, 12 hours) or B, D (Nights, 12 hours) from Monday to Thursday or Friday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Perform PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.

• Utilize knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics to ensure equipment functionality.

• Apply troubleshooting skills to maintain high-speed automated packaging and processing equipment.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on product and process cost reductions.

• Supervise and provide leadership to a maintenance team.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience with PLC programming and Servo Control.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with high-speed automated packaging and processing equipment.

• At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in supervising a team.

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Project) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Food Manufacturing.

• Experience in driving continuous improvement and achieving documented results.

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment in technical matters.

• Working knowledge of OSHA, GFSI, QF, USDA, and FDA regulations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
