Job Description:

Pay Range: $25hr - $27hr
  • ssembler must be able to follow documentation thoroughly to build electronic and mechanical tabletop and standalone systems and assemblies.
  • This includes building sub-assemblies, integrating sub-assemblies into larger builds, and completing full assemblies from start to finish for technical review.
  • Responsibilities include optical alignment, calibration, and basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • ssemblers support multiple product lines with various options and upgrades implemented through hardware or software changes.
  • dditional duties include final testing and certification of assemblies, providing documentation improvement suggestions, and documenting troubleshooting steps.
  • ssemblers will work collaboratively with technicians who assist with technical reviews and final testing.
Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies that do not meet testing criteria.
  • Contribute to the development of a documented troubleshooting guide.
  • Build and test mechanical, optical, and electronic assemblies.
  • Perform routine inventory control and component inspections.
  • Collaborate with engineering to resolve issues with components and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of assembly documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of manufacturing-related experience as an assembler, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: 5 or more years of manufacturing-related experience, ideally with optics and electro-optics.
  • Experience working with technicians and engineers in a manufacturing environment.
  • bility to work under frequently changing priorities and deadlines while understanding organizational impacts.
Skills:
  • Familiarity with hand and machine tools.
  • Experience with power tools and machining equipment.
  • Experience using electronic test equipment.
  • bility to solder and work with electronic assemblies.
  • bility to work with crimp tools, wires, and cable assemblies.
Qualification And Education:
  • Manufacturing-related experience or equivalent education and experience combination.
