Frank Gillitzer Electric Company is seeking an experienced electrician to join our dynamic team. We work on a variety of residential, commercial and industrial projects--no two days are the same
Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate
Five to ten years of electrical experience
Have a valid driver's license--must be approved by the company's insurance carrier to be able drive a company vehicle
Able to interpret/analyze blueprints and wiring diagrams, utilizing this information on the jobsite
Ensures compliance with the National Electrical Code and safety standards at all times and on all jobsites
Proficient in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
Able to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and contractors
Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and utilizes effective time management skills to meet project deadlines
Willing to mentor, train and supervise helpers and apprentices
Maintains accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job each day
Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Paid overtime may be required. Will be required to be on call, for one week, Monday-Sunday every 7th week.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift 75 pounds
Able to climb ladders, work on roofs, work from boom truck or scissor lift
Work may necessitate climbing in attics or small spaces
Work may necessitate trenching or digging
Work may require you to work outside in inclement weather
