The Coronary Care Unit has a dynamic work environment with an active Unit Shared Governance Council that organizes community outreach programs./ppA caregiver in this position works 7:00PM 7:30AM./ppA caregiver who excels in this role will:/pulliProvide direct nursing care./liliImplement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans./liliMonitor, record, document and communicate patients conditions./liliAdminister prescribed medications and treatments./liliNote and carry out physician and nursing orders./liliAssess and coordinate patients discharge needs./liliEducate patients and their families./li/ulpMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:/pulliGraduate from an accredited school of professional nursing./liliCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)./liliBasic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)./liliOne-year of current acute care RN experience.
