Senior Mechanical Engineer

Minneapolis, Minnesota

Bs in mechanical with 10+ years experience 3D CAD design experience (Solidworks) , centrifugal compressors, New product development, GD&T, DFMEA, Tolerance, Casting

as a member of the engineering team, work to design manufacturing equipment for testing and assembling of centrifugal and multi stage compressors.

Onsite Coordinator for multiple design Projects in Air Compressors for HVAC applications

New Product Design & development of Compressors subsystems (Preferred experience in rotating equipment design & development)

Design calculations as per ASME standards

DFMEA, Risk analysis & Mitigation plan as part of new product development

Coordinate vendors for Manufacturability check, RFQ & proto development & Testing

Support for documentation for certifications

SKILLS

Proficient with Solidworks, mechanical, manufacturing systems

develop new equipment from concept through launch

knowledge of machining and tolerances , knowledge of GD&T, material properties

proficiency in selection of materials and OEM components and adopt engineering principles and technologies during equipment/ machine

experience of engineering change management, analyze and troubleshoot issues.

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
