Position: Sales Rep
Location: Clifton, NJ
Duration: Fulltime
Key Required Skills

- 2+ to 5 years experience Minimum Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have a 'clean driving record' they will be required to use their own vehicle to drive to client sites for this role. Must have reliable transportation. (reminder that they get a $300-$500/mo. Car allowance and a gas card)
- 1-7 years of experience in b2b sales. 2 i-5 years of b2b experience is ideal. No college required, just high school - don't want ppl who have been around awhile bc they want to train them (10-15 years wouldn't work, they would look at them but doesn't usually work)
- 2 years outside B2B sales experience.
- Would look at someone who has done B2C, need outside sales**
- The ideal candidate has previous success in B2B sales, experience selling solutions versus commodities in a highly competitive market, closing skills with a focus on long-term customer retention, Must meet clients in person.
- Experience with contractual business sales (i.e., office equipment, business systems, communication solutions, etc.), and a demonstrated history of continual learning and self-improvement.
- The Sales Representative is responsible for Business-to-Business (B2B) sales. He or she will call on business owners, senior-level decision makers, and executives to promote Dempsey solutions in support of linens, uniforms, healthcare apparel, mats and mops, restroom services, and promotional product needs.
- The Sales Representative will develop and present competitive solutions by promoting Dempsey's reputation, reliability, eco-friendly operational model, and industry stature. He or she is expected to prospect using both conventional and creative means, which includes cold-calling to social networking, in order to build the business base.
