Warranty Technician

A company in Elkhart, IN is looking to hire a Warranty Technician that focuses on remote technical support and troubleshooting. About 95% of the work is office-based, communicating with customers by phone and email to diagnose and resolve HVAC issues. The ideal candidate has automotive A/C experience (12V systems) and a solid technical background that allows them to understand installation and troubleshooting steps.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide phone and email troubleshooting support for customers and service centers.

  • Guide technicians through installation and diagnostic procedures using existing step-by-step documentation.

  • Use Google Sheets and Google Workspace tools for tracking, communication, and documentation.

  • Collaborate with warranty and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle A/C systems (12V).

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret wiring diagrams or service manuals.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Candidates with residential HVAC experience are also encouraged to apply and will be trained on industry-specific systems.
