Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in designing and implementing modern, cloud-native data platforms on Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP. The ideal candidate will have strong data modeling capabilities, an in-depth understanding of Azure data services, and experience guiding the architectural roadmap for data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML use cases. This role is critical in enabling enterprise-wide data strategies, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with business leaders, IT stakeholders, and product teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable architecture.
  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
  • Contribute to cloud strategy, budgeting, and technology roadmap planning.
Strategic Architecture & Design (Any cloud and Azure is preferable )
  • Design end-to-end data architecture frameworks on Cloud, including data lakes, lake houses, data warehouses, and real-time streaming solutions.
  • Define data modeling standards, logical and physical data models, and integration patterns.
  • Evaluate new technologies and define future-state architecture aligned with business goals.
Solution Delivery
  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions using Azure/AWS/GCP services.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and analytics teams to implement architectural blueprints.
  • Governance & Best Practices
  • Implement data governance, lineage, and metadata management using tools such as Microsoft Purview.
  • Enforce standards for data quality, security, compliance, and access control.
  • Establish best practices for data cataloging, version control, data lifecycle management, and DevOps for data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data management.
  • 3+ years of proven experience designing Azure-based data solutions.
Strong knowledge of:
  • Cloud-native data architecture (data lake/lake house/warehouse)
  • Data modeling (3NF, star schema, snowflake schema)
  • Azure/AWS/GCP Data Services
  • Real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture
  • SQL, Python, or Spark
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical delivery
