Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Allied Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days 4x10 days with call Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) via CCI Must-Have: Solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician experience Familiarity with EMR/Equipment EPIC Description: Assist in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles in the department. Average number of cases per day is 10-20. Common diagnoses include STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, and atrial fibrillation/flutter. Shifts are 4x10 hours with call requirements. Call response time is 30 minutes. Floating within the department is required. Unit-specific orientation is provided. Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Candidates must be available for a week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote. Schedulers allow for self-scheduling and block scheduling. Weekend and holiday call requirements are included. Manager/Charge Nurse oversight is part of the role.
