Maintenance Technician

Now hiring a Maintenance Mechanic/Lead in New Holland, PA. Ideal candidate will have experience in a Maintenance Technician role and well rounded both mechanically and electrically. Solid team culture on the maintenance team and plenty of OT available

Shift: 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm (with overtime)

Pay Rate: $26-$34/hour plus a $2.50 shift differential

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to equipment during production.

• Maintain and repair production, packaging, and material handling equipment.

• Support machine setups and changeovers.

• Respond to production trouble calls.

• Utilize testing equipment or diagnostic skills to determine the root cause of problems.

• Instruct production operators as needed to prevent machine or system damage.

• Perform preventive maintenance.

• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process.

• Troubleshoot automation, mechanical, servo, and utility equipment issues and implement improvements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 3-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment

• Ability to use basic shop mathematics and interpret blueprints.

• Skills in electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs.

• Experience with inventory control, preventative and predictive maintenance.

• Basic office computer operation skills.

• Understanding of lockout-tagout and industrial safety procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Holland, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
