Clearance Requirement: Candidates must possess an active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret and Special Access Programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of multiple air-gapped Information Systems (IS) and networks.
- Ensure the security configuration and compliance of various Information Systems.
- Oversee daily operational support including troubleshooting, updates, backups, monitoring, and user management.
- Implement security controls in accordance with established Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and customer directives.
- Manage patching and anti-virus definition updates.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues involving COTS PCs, printers, networks, and encryption hardware.
- Respond to customer requests and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolution.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to best practices and provide exemplary service and support.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 2 - 4 years of experience, an Associate degree with 4 - 6 years, or a High School diploma with 6 or more years of relevant experience.
- Current DoD 8140/8570 compliant IA certification for IAT II (Security+ce or higher).
- Active Secret clearance and eligibility to obtain Top Secret and Special Access Programs clearance.
- Hands-on experience with Linux Server and workstation environments.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Understanding of computer network concepts, including network hardware and IP address management.
- Experience with Virtualized Machine (VM) architecture design, implementation, and sustainment.
- Knowledge in applying security controls under the Risk Management Framework.
- Strong customer service skills, with clear communication abilities both written and oral.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with container management, including Kubernetes, Podman, and Docker.
- Experience with cloud systems such as Azure and AWS.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, including Active Directory and Windows 10 environments.
- Understanding of Special Access Program (SAP) Information Systems requirements.
- Experience with Information Systems implementation as per the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG).
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices and system development lifecycle automation.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning using tools like ACAS or Nessus.
- Understanding of audit log reduction tools (e.g., Graylog or Splunk).
- Advanced DoDI 8570 certification.
- Shell scripting capabilities.
- Certifications in Windows or Linux.
- In-depth hardware experience.
