Amazon Web Services is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill Data center Logistics Specialist positions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to Safety & Operational Excellence.
Logistics Specialists monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities. They receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data center Technicians and Engineers. They will also be responsible for loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations.
This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products. Logistics Specialists will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company. They must also maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all work spaces. They must be available to work weekend shift work.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment, as well as experience and knowledge of reverse logistics processes. Experience handling vendor relationships is helpful.

Key job responsibilities
• \tEnsure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated and ready for processing
• \tAssembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials
• \tAssist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
• \tKeep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
• \tUnderstand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift or cherry picker).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• \tHigh school diploma or equivalent
• \t1+ years of logistics or other relevant experience
• \t1+ year of experience in shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• \tWarehouse Management Software / Inventory Management Software proficiency
• \tFamiliar with waybills and shipping procedures with transport companies
• \tAbility to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager
• \tFamiliarity with computer hardware components and operating systems
• \tProficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $43,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $94,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
