We're looking for Emergency Department Technicians who are excited to support our fast-paced emergency team and make a meaningful impact each day. In this role, you'll work directly under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide essential patient care, assist with both clinical and non-clinical tasks, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned patient care activities under RN supervision
- Support personal needs and comfort of patients
- Assist with safe, clean, environment upkeep
- Obtain EKGs and assist with splinting
- Maintain patient tracking and care documentation
This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Training as a Certified Nurse Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or Paramedic required upon hire and maintained
- Continuing education required to maintain certification
- BLS certification required upon hire and maintained
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word; experience with Paragon Order Clinical Care Stations and Tracking Board preferred
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language
- Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and coworkers
- Must attend splinting classes as assigned
- Must be trained to obtain patient EKG
