Summary:
This is a flexible opportunity allowing psychiatrists to work either remotely or onsite, full-time or part-time, providing focused psychiatric care in coordination with primary care providers. The hourly rate is generous, and licensure costs for NJ will be covered, making it a highly accommodating option for qualified candidates.
Role Overview:
- Work collaboratively with Family Medicine and Internal Medicine providers in a busy primary care practice.
- Responsibilities include psychiatric assessment and medication co-management.
- Care provided can be for children, adolescents, or adults depending on provider specialization.
- Must hold an active NJ State medical license .
- Must be willing to obtain a NJ medical license (cost covered by the practice).
- Participation in the practice's insurance plans.
- Collaborate with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) as part of the care team.
- Location is flexible : in-person or remote, based on provider preference.
- Patient load: 2 patients per hour .
- Positions: Both full-time and part-time roles are available.
