Electrical Construction Project Manager I or II

About the Role: The Project Manager will oversee cost estimates and operational activities for various commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

This position requires minor travel to work sites in the assigned project area. Projects are based in Dacono, Denver, Longmont, Loveland, Highlands Ranch, Henderson, and Fort Collins. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.

Note: This position offers relocation assistance, bonus eligibility, and includes a company phone and car.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and manage project construction schedules.
• Submit Requests for Information to clients as needed.
• Oversee daily activities of assigned projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project personnel.
• Coordinate meetings, schedule updates, and manage deliverables as requested by clients.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and billing information.
• Monitor job costs against budgets and report regularly to management.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and materials within deadlines.
• Conduct field evaluations for estimating purposes.
• Engage in the estimate review process with stakeholders.
• Assist with bills of material and purchasing information.
• Attend field walk-downs to assess constructability.
• Compare project documents for accuracy.
• Assist in preparing and submitting change orders.
• Collaborate closely with project management teams.
• Provide support to construction personnel, tracking project expenses.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

About You:

Project Manager I Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (relevant education and experience may substitute for a degree).

Project Manager II Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (relevant education and experience may substitute for a degree).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong understanding of specifications and documentation for preparing estimates.
• Familiarity with N.E.C. and local code requirements.
• Able to interpret various project plans and specifications, including blueprints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with estimating software, such as Accubid.
• Able to create schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• A team player skilled in collaborating with diverse partners.
• Self-motivated with the ability to maintain focus on tasks.
