Job Description

The role involves managing the Forward Area Mobility Spray System (FAMS-S), a mobile decontamination system designed for U.S. Special Forces to mitigate chemical and biological agent contamination. As a Program Manager, you will oversee all aspects of program management, including developing a roadmap, action plan, and master schedule. You will also handle project coordination, ensuring deadlines are met within budget and scope, and managing communication between subcontractors, internal partners, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop a program roadmap, plan of action, and milestones.

• Oversee the creation and management of an integrated master schedule.

• Coordinate project tasks and engineering milestones to ensure on-time delivery within budget and scope.

• Manage project tasks for development projects, ensuring quality standards and procedures are met.

• Partner with engineers to discuss and optimize design and engineering choices.

• Manage communication between subcontractors, internal partners, and customers.

• Own and manage program budgets and schedules.

• Lead project teams with matrix leadership.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of program management/project management experience.

• PMP - Project Management Professional Certificate.

• Proficiency in using MS Project and MS Excel for project task management.

• Experience supporting defense contracts and military programs.

• Ability to manage customer and internal communication.

• Experience in matrix leadership and obtaining internal partner commitments.

• Capability to own and manage budgets and schedules.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace mechanical, aerospace defense, and defense aerospace fields.

• Knowledge of mil spec, mil standards, and AS9100.

• Familiarity with Solidworks, design for manufacturing, new product development, and new product introduction.

• Experience with MS Project Server, budgeting, budget planning, and budget development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
