Maintenance Workers

Insight Global is seeking a qualified maintenance worker to support a large municipal client's Public Works department.
This position will be part of a dedicated 5-member Concrete Crew responsible for supporting Capital Improvement Projects related to sidewalk repair and construction throughout the City. Under the direction of a Maintenance Crew Supervisor II the selected candidate will assist in performing skilled and semi-skilled labor in the installation, maintenance, and repair of sidewalks and related infrastructure. The pay for this role varies between $20-$25 hourly dependent on experience.
Responsible for facilities, grounds and City infrastructure maintenance functions;
May have a lead role or be responsible for construction and maintenance projects;
Performs repairs and completes maintenance assignments;
May be exposed to or required to use chemicals in general maintenance responsibilities;
May serve in a lead role in skilled work and the use of hand tools and maintenance equipment;
Operates hand tools and power equipment associated with custodial, construction and maintenance operations;
Operates vehicles as required;
Must have the willingness and flexibility to work as a member of one or several teams or independently to complete assigned tasks;
Performs other duties as assigned.

CDL
Basic understanding of ADA roadway compliance
2 years of experience in the street maintenance, and at least 1 year of experience with concrete (pouring, forming, finishing, grading, ADA add ons)
Valid VA driver's license and clean driving record (needs to be under 5 point on DL and )
