About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Loans Officer to originate and manage loan transactions, assess borrower eligibility, and build long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate has experience in the mortgage or real estate industry, a strong grasp of credit evaluation, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and process loan applications in alignment with company policies
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential borrowers through financial analysis
- Maintain and nurture strong relationships with clients and referral sources
- Guide clients through the lending process and provide ongoing support
- Monitor loan performance and follow up on documentation and payments
- Stay current with market trends and lending regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in the mortgage or real estate financing industry
- Strong knowledge of the real estate market and lending practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
