Must-Have:
- Clean malpractice is preferred
- Experience with ETT/NT/Tracheostomy, BiPAP/CPAP, central line, arterial line, PA catheter, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube, thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy with and without Bronchial Alveolar Lavage (BAL), evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, pulmonary function testing, pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, bronchoprovocation testing, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), interstitial and granulomatous lung disease, treatment and management of asthma, bronchiolitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, pneumonia, sarcoidosis, pulmonary nodules, pulmonary vascular disease
Job Description:
- Join a team due to a retirement in a practice located on the banks of the Mississippi River
- Provide care in inpatient, outpatient, ICU, perform shared call and procedures
- Work in a practice setting that includes medical, surgical, trauma, and adult care
- Participate in a 1:4 call schedule every 4th night and every 4th weekend
- Manage an average of up to 20 ICU patients per day with nurse practitioner support
- Handle up to 10 inpatient (non-ICU) patients and 5 admissions per day
- Supervise and cover healthcare providers such as nurse practitioners or physician assistants
- Engage in teaching services and supervision
- Utilize Cerner for documentation/EMR tasks
- Perform ventilation management procedures and required insertions
- Participate in diagnostic/therapeutic taps and additional pulmonary procedures
- Provide treatment and management for a variety of pulmonary conditions
