We are seeking an Azure/Databricks Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. Your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing the necessary Azure and Databricks models to fulfill our business reporting needs. You will be responsible for data extraction from SAP and Non-SAP sources into Azure Data Lake creating pipelines and notebooks. Work on projects and provide ongoing support and maintenance for all systems.

Your tasks will include analyzing and configuring the systems to support customized reporting and data analytics solutions, as well as devising processes to minimize data quality risks and proactively identify potential data issues. Troubleshoot and debug existing ETL processes in a production environment. Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of existing processes. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Experience in data warehousing and data modeling in Azure Synapse or Databricks.
  • Create Azure Synapse pipelines and Databricks notebooks to extract and transform data.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data in a diverse database environment.
  • Utilization of Unity Catalog, Data Storage, Delta Lake, Workflows and other concepts.
  • Coding experience in SQL/Python.
  • Knowledge of Azure Infra setup and DevOps functionality.
  • Familiarity with Power BI.
  • Gather business requirements and translate into technical solutions.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to deliver solutions.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot data load failures, and resolve performance issues.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of ML and AI.
  • Familiarity with SAP BW and BODS.
  • Exposure to SAP ECC, Prophet 21 ERP systems and JIRA tool.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or any related field.
  • Knowledge of ML, AI and Predictive Analytics.
  • Familiarity with BusinessObjects, SAP BW and BODS.
  • Exposure to SAP ECC, Prophet 21 and JIRA.
