Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in a similar role
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work full-time and handle overtime with a flexible rotating schedule
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in a MS Office environment
  • General mechanical troubleshooting and repair capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in both team settings and independent work
  • Strong technical skills in math and analytical reasoning
  • Multi-tasking abilities with a talent for prioritizing tasks
  • High School diploma or GED required; some college or technical training is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure personal and co-worker safety while adhering to safety rules
  • Act as the primary operations contact for assigned facilities, understanding the process flow and safety equipment
  • Conduct physical inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure optimal operations, issuing Safe Work Permits as needed
  • Perform gas testing to maintain a safe operating area for maintenance activities
  • Monitor processes including gauging tanks, recording data, taking product samples, and checking for leaks and temperature variances
  • Engage in 'visual maintenance' to ensure equipment operates within set parameters
  • Adjust local process parameters to maintain product specifications
  • Maintain the company vehicle in good working order
  • Coordinate oil sales and saltwater hauling
  • Keep accurate electronic or paper gauge sheets, noting production changes
  • Check and ensure control valve positions are correct
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks
  • Communicate with the Production Foreman regarding process conditions and any required changes
  • Oversee winterization and summarization of equipment for efficiency
  • Inspect safety equipment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Understand and adhere to environmental policies and procedures, aiming to minimize impacts
  • Follow all working rules and continuously improve job knowledge
  • Exhibit reliable attendance and work independently when necessary
  • Support team efforts to achieve business objectives and complete assigned tasks
