National Outside Sales Trainer

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced field prospecting environment where they exhibited coaching and leadership skills. They will have an innovative approach to training that fosters a creative style in an ever-changing environment. This role has a heavy focus on teaching the hunting and farming approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding, continued training, coaching, and assisting Outside sales Consultants in achieving their goals. This role requires someone who can easily adapt to a growing environment, working closely with the Director of Sales Development (DSD), Divisional Vice Presidents (DVPs), Sales Leaders, and Outside Sales Consultants (OSCs). Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Must be computer savvy. This position is on-site at the local Regional Support Center.

Responsibilities

  • During the onboarding process, there may be some travel required to understand the role of the Outside Sales Consultant
  • Maximizes sales representative effectiveness by determining and solving training needs.
  • Prepares new sales representatives by conducting virtual classroom onboarding to CRM.
  • Collaborate with the DSD to develop strategic training plans, providing resources and assistance for all new and existing OSCs
  • Develops individual results by maintaining policy and procedure resources; providing coaching; conducting training sessions; developing outcome improvement resources.
  • Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes sales training and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Be a subject matter expert in the CRM, bidding and OSC sales process
  • Provide weekly and monthly updates on company initiatives.
  • Ensure OSCs understand and comply with all training initiatives, performance standards, and policies.
  • Monitoring and evaluating OSCs onboarding, providing learning or coaching opportunities, and taking corrective action, if necessary, through the direction of the DSD, by partnering with DVPs and Sales Leaders.
  • Preparing reports and analyzing data to assist DSD as they review overall new hire OSCs trajectory.
  • Travel is required 25% - 35% to support centers within the United States on a quarterly basis to support Outside Sales Consultants with ongoing training and support.
Qualifications
  • Preferred 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a field sales environment
  • Must have 2+ year sales experience that included both hunting and farming leads to grow a pipeline
  • Possesses leadership skills to effectively train, develop, lead, inspire and motivate at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer and technical skills - comfortable with all Microsoft Office programs and streaming devices. Must have utilized a CRM system
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • College degree preferred
  • Experience in developing sales training processes and modules for specific skill sets from the ground up.
  • Experience writing copy for sales training platforms.
  • LMS management experience.
