***This Engineering role can be filled at either the Mid-level or Senior Engineer level. Please see minimum qualifications below for each level.***
Expected Salary Range:
- Mid-Level - $90,000 - $110,000
- Senior Level - $118,800 - $150,000
Ranges are per year based on experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of Position
In this role, you will tackle advanced technical and engineering challenges in support of Clean Energy Center (CEC) operations. You will be responsible for making critical technical decisions utilizing your specialized knowledge and practical application skills, along with a deep understanding of industry codes and regulations.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Deliver expert technical guidance to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Consult on and resolve equipment and system issues through direct involvement.
- Oversee complete task management of engineering-related challenges.
- Execute engineering and technical tasks assigned, applying your strong foundational engineering principles.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all work, maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, and codes.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support regulatory and technical projects.
- Propose innovative concepts and techniques to enhance performance, streamline operations, reduce costs, or meet evolving regulations.
- Take on additional responsibilities as directed by management, including emergency response, call outs, and support during outage activities beyond your department.
Minimum Qualifications for Mid-level E02 Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
- Ability to maintain access requirements and meet medical examination and testing criteria as per position duties.
Minimum Qualifications for Senior E03 Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or comparable engineering experience.
- Ability to maintain access requirements and meet medical examination and testing criteria as per position duties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineer in Training certification.
