Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and validate CMM inspection programs based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret complex GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) requirements for accurate measurement.
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and in-process inspections using CMM.
- Analyze measurement data, identify deviations, and generate detailed inspection reports.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing CMM programs and measurement processes.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve quality non-conformances.
- Maintain CMM equipment, including calibration verification and basic maintenance.
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Strong understanding and application of GD&T principles.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and CAD models.
- Solid knowledge of metrology fundamentals and measurement techniques.
- Experience with CAD software for model manipulation and feature extraction.
- Experience with programming and operating other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners).
- Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and data analysis.
- Advanced CAD modeling skills (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) for fixture design or model manipulation.
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrated experience in process improvement.
