Shift Hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Annual Shifts: 182 shifts per year


Position Overview:

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking dedicated and team-oriented Hospitalists to join our growing inpatient team at AdventHealth DeLand. This is a full-time employed position with a 7 on / 7 off schedule, working 12-hour shifts either days or nights, totaling 182 shifts annually.

Our hospitalist teams are well-supported, highly collegial, and committed to delivering whole-person care that reflects AdventHealth s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.


Practice Highlights:

  • Block schedule: 7 days on / 7 days of
  • 12-hour shifts: 7 AM 7 PM (day) or 7 PM 7 AM (night)
  • Epic EMR across all campuses
  • Opportunities to pick up extra shifts
  • Strong specialist support and collaborative team environment
  • No procedures required; optional if desired
  • Night positions include support from APPs


Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Current Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Active DEA license
  • Team-first mindset and strong communication skills
  • Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
