The Animal Hospital of Berlin in Kensington, Connecticut, is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our close-knit, long-standing team We've proudly served our community for decades and have been the trusted veterinary home for multiple generations of clients. We're now ready to welcome a second doctor to help us continue providing the exceptional, personalized care our patients deserve.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Veterinarian to step into a leadership or Associate role offering excellent patient care Previous leadership experience is not required.
About Us
We're an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital located just south of Hartford. Our recently renovated facility features:
- 3 exam rooms
- Dedicated surgical area
- Cat boarding and grooming services (no dogs)
- New floors, ceiling, paint, HVAC ductwork, and updated electrical
- New IDEXX in-house lab equipment
- Ultrasound
We're a tight-knit, supportive group - many of our team members have worked together for over 20 years We believe in work-life balance and maintaining a laid-back, friendly atmosphere where everyone helps each other out. During appointments and surgeries, our veterinarians are always supported by at least two experienced assistants/technicians, with additional help available as needed. We've maintained our AAHA accreditation for over 30 years, a testament to our commitment to excellence in patient care and team standards.
What We Offer
- Flexible full- or part-time schedule (4-5 weekdays, no weekends)
- Supportive, collaborative environment with one-on-one surgical mentorship
- No after-hours or on-call duties
