• Deliver targeted speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication skills, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Work in tandem with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, medical professionals, caregivers, and family members to devise unified care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to encourage progress beyond therapy appointments and into their daily lives.
• Provide occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions in speech therapy to ensure seamless care throughout the treatment continuum.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment procedures accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and peer discussions to remain abreast of innovations in the field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still pending.

Credentials

• Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days post-hire.
