About The Position

Unit Information: CARDIAC CATH LAB TECH (746) Location: HCA FLORIDA UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL Address: 3476 S University Drive, Davie Fl, 33328 Floor: 2nd floor within the OR Building: Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of labs - 1 Number of Staff - 4 nurses, 1 Rad Tech currently all day shift; hours 7a-3:30p Type of Equipment GE EMR Meditech Call Requirements rotating call for IR only currently; cath lab is diagnostic lab only Typical Hiring Profile Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for this role) Cardiac Cath & IR experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Cardiac Cath, diagnostic only Interventional radiology; all areas except neuro Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently) Critical thinker, Sense of humor Dress Code: Scrub Color OR scrubs provided for staff as lab is within the OR boundary/red line. Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, etc. $0.50 meal day once per month Free meal day once per month Ice cream socials each month Employee of the month Pancake breakfast, free once a quarter Brand new facility, open less than one year; growing cath volumes to reach 300 for level II Show more
