Building Operating Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and operations, is seeking a Building Operating Engineer to join their team. As a Building Operating Engineer, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the Operations Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Florence, SC
What's the Job?
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across all systems.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, and Life Safety systems to ensure compliance with standards.
- Monitor and calibrate HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Record readings, make adjustments, and document maintenance activities accurately.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Ability to analyze the operation of various Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems and take corrective actions.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
