  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Telemetry nursing team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all patient care activities in the Telemetry unit, ensuring delivery of safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
  • Direct daily unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, equipment oversight, and budget management.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and quality initiatives to maintain compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize workflow efficiency.
Candidate requirements BSN required; MSN, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Active RN license in Texas, or eligibility to obtain. 5-7 years of progressive nursing experience, with 3+ years in leadership or supervisory roles (Telemetry, Progressive Care, or Critical Care preferred). BLS and ACLS required; PCCN or CCRN preferred. Proven ability to manage clinical operations, lead teams, and drive quality improvements.
