About the Role

As Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, you will own the end-to-end manufacturing strategy and execution across production, operations, quality, logistics, R&D, procurement, and compliance. This is a mission-critical leadership role requiring a change agent mindset, a strong engineering foundation, and proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation-driven process optimization.

You will partner with executive leadership to:
  • Define and implement operational strategies that deliver world-class manufacturing performance.
  • Optimize processes and lead cultural transformation to achieve best-in-class standards in quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Spearhead CapEx projects, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities for the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations include:
  • Lead and inspire a multi-site manufacturing organization to deliver operational excellence and scalable growth.
  • Champion Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA and USDA regulations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety.
  • Drive CapEx projects, plant expansions, and Greenfield initiatives aligned with the company's growth trajectory.
  • Build and mentor a world-class leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute strategic operational plans and budgetary goals.
The ideal Vice President of Manufacturing Operations should have the following skillset:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing operations.
  • 8+ years in senior management roles with multi-site responsibility.
  • Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement culture.
  • LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus, but not required
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing largescale CapEx projects.
  • Expertise in plant consolidation, relocation, and Greenfield projects.
  • Exceptional ability to influence, lead change, and deliver transformational results.
