Position Description

We have an immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled drivers looking for great pay and benefits.

Wondering about your earnings? Expect to make $1505 or more per week

  • Driver Positions Pay Weekly
  • Solo Miles Pay: $0.65 per Mile with approximately 2200 Miles per Week
  • 2 - 3 Layovers per Week
  • Sign On Bonus: Earn $1250 at 30 days and another $1250 at 90 days
  • Paid Training Provided
  • Schedule: Sunday - Friday
  • Start Time: 9:00 pm

Join us and experience transparency in your pay and route details. As a Ryder Driver, you'll deliver food goods to various states including VA, PA, MD, OH, CT, NJ, ME, DE, NC, & NY on regional routes.

  • Tractor Type: Sleeper with Refrigerators and Inverters
  • Trailer Type: Dry Van & Reefer 53'
  • No Touch Freight
  • Hazmat Endorsements Preferred (We provide reimbursement for costs and training to obtain endorsements)

Your equipment will be modern (36 months or newer), and you will have access to 24/7 Roadside Maintenance. Fuel at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Pass a drug test and background check
  • Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test
  • Must hold a valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
  • Verifiable experience: 9 months in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in the past 5 years, OR 5 years in the past 10 years
  • Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Comply with federal and state laws and regulations
  • Identify and mitigate safety hazards
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
  • Load/Unload freight as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
