JOB SUMMARY: Join our team as a Produce Order Picker In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for selecting, stacking, wrapping, and shipping orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position supports various areas as needed, working with products that require strict temperature controls.

Starting at: $19.85, plus incentive pay.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Selects appropriate equipment using an automated voice recognition computer system.
  • Stacks products on pallets according to specifications for optimal space use and damage minimization.
  • Secures pallets with plastic wrap for shipment to stores.
  • Maintains production rates based on engineered labor standards.
  • Ensures proper placement of pallets on trailers.
  • Delivers efficient and courteous service to support our company mission.
  • Attends scheduled shifts to adhere to time and attendance policies.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with truck loading on the dock.
  • Perform sanitation tasks as necessary.
  • Operate a forklift, if certified.
  • Ensure pallet jack is properly charged at the end of the shift.
  • Occasional yard work may be required.
  • Follow confidentiality policies concerning company and personnel information.
  • Utilize time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Adhere to all safety and security measures.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Work floors are concrete; conditions may include noise, light, dust, and physical demands. Expect to work in a refrigerated warehouse with varying temperatures, cold and damp environments, and slick floors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, handle repetitive motions, walk on concrete for extended periods, and work in cold environments is required.

MENTAL DEMANDS: Must remain alert and focused, capable of reading, writing, basic math, and following verbal/written instructions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
  • Good physical condition and stamina are essential.

This position is located in the Produce Warehouse, with work primarily during second shift hours (4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.) and may require overtime. Must be ready to adhere to company standards and guidelines in a collaborative and safety-focused environment.
