We are looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable Surgical Technologist I to support our surgical teams in delivering exceptional patient care.

Schedule Details: Full-time evening shifts, with 8 or 10-hour shifts. You will have on-call responsibilities, primarily overnight, with additional weekend coverage as needed. You must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes when on call.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Assist in the setup and disassembly of surgical equipment and instruments
  • Support the surgical team by anticipating their needs and providing necessary supplies
  • Uphold safety and efficiency standards in the operating room
  • Transport patients and manage equipment as required

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (to be obtained within 6 months if not already held)
  • No prior experience is required; we welcome enthusiastic newcomers

Physical Requirements: This role demands physical stamina and the ability to lift and transport patients and equipment. You should be ready to handle various physical challenges, including lifting and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
