The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production and facility equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on production machinery and facility equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems.

Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, electrical diagrams, and pneumatic blueprints.

Calibrate, adjust, and align equipment components to manufacturer specifications.

Install, modify, and upgrade machinery, automation systems, and associated controls.

Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend improvements to reduce recurrence.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.

3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.

Proven hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems.

Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motor drives, and automated equipment.

Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
