Position Details:

  • Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
  • Hours Per Week: 40

Exciting Bonuses:

Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus with distance-based relocation assistance and an additional $2,000 sign-on bonus for PM shifts at ASLMC.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field, utilizing effective aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Assist in the setup, management, and breakdown of surgical equipment and instruments.
  • Perform various tasks to ensure the safety and efficiency of the surgery environment.
  • Act as a Second Assistant when necessary, adapting to the team's needs.
  • Transport patients and supplies while ensuring the highest level of care.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • No prior experience necessary – we value your potential and willingness to learn

Skills Needed:

  • Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and operating room equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to handle the physical demands of a fast-paced environment, including lifting and transporting patients.
  • Exposure to various hazards including mechanical, electrical, and chemical materials.
  • Ability to wear necessary protective equipment (masks, gloves, etc.)
