What You Will Do
  • Order materials
  • Operate a forklift or Lull to move and load materials
  • Schedule and support delivery of materials and equipment (generators, transformers, switchgear)
  • Receive copy of order acknowledgements, compare to packing slips
  • Check deliveries for damage and accuracy, document damaged material
  • Deliver material to Foreman
  • Coordinate with Foremen when material cages are ready to swap out return
  • Maintain organized material staging area and coordinate returns
  • Transport electrical materials in a safe, responsible manner
  • Work with all team members to accomplish the daily shipping schedule
  • Assist with jobsite clean offs with the Warehouse Manager and Field Supervisors
  • Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to various office and warehouse/yard projects

What You Will Bring

In addition to being punctual, self-motivated, detail oriented, and unwilling to accept second-best, you will
  • Be familiar with materials used in electrical construction
  • Have solid experience operating a forklift or material handling Lull
  • Have a strong desire to learn and be teachable
  • Have experience ordering, organizing, and moving large and small electrical construction materials
  • Be physically able to raise, lower, push, pull, or move objects weighing over 75 pounds
  • Be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and customer service skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment
  • Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Exercise independent judgment and be motivated to grow and develop professionally
  • Be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
